Assistance for Special Needs Kids
We are the non-profit organization of “NeuroDiversity Empowerment”. Do you know there are more than 30,000 students in the Special Education Program in King County, among them more than 3,000 have Autism? Please join us to bring up the awareness of Neuro-Diversity and Special Needs Inclusion.
- Be our ND Empowerment spokesperson, and pass out flyers.
- Work on our posters with supporters hand contour drawing.
- Help us for on-site recruiting new members.
- Brain-storming new ideas to help kids with special needs and neuro-diversity.
Here are several tasks we are doing and will do in the near future:
- Provide mentor service to local school special education programs. - Currently in LWHS, and recruiting for more schools.
- Work with local merchants to develop job training for youth with special needs. - Currently with Kirkland Safeway, and recruiting for more local stores.
- Work with Kirkland Youth Council to outreach youth with special needs and to provide assistance.
- Fundraising for Special Education Program
- Fun events to play basketball, soccer, and swimming with SN kids.
- Join us to explore more events for SN society and bring up the awareness of neurodiversity.
